The torch stands for the light kindling victory, sportswise or in academics. The Indian head stands for the spirit or force behind that victory. The slogan ''Victory is achievement, and achievement is Rindge ' speaks for itself. The two Indian heads on the back cover are ties to the old tradition, although this time tradition is in the background instead of in the spotlight. It might be interesting to note that this design almost became the design for the front cover, showing once again the theme repeated yearly. It is our sincere hope that this cover represents the spirit of fresh, new ideas that will make this yearbook the best Rindge has ever seen. Our four years have come and gone. We have attempted to mature in every aspect of life, which should be obtained from a high school. Memories of high school are unforgettable ones; they are happy and full of pride. Education is in itself a widely traveled toad. There are many intersections in this toad, each leading to a future goal for those who travel upon it. There are also many obstacles in this road, which can be eliminated by determination and self- achievement. Then, the road can serve its purpose as a means of guidance to the future. Rindge has opened many doors for us, but our only regret is that as we walk through its doors one last time we know it will be the last time anyone will ever walk through them again. Its unfortunate that no one else will experience the friendship, understanding and intimate atmosphere which we enjoyed while in Rindge.
