Along with the usual classwork, John Pp sbotball. : co “Asa sophomore, John was a starter on the varsity football team. An aggressive, quick, strong lineman, gohn's potential was unlimited. In the; Watertown game, he injured his leg and was unable to play the second half. Later while treating the leg injury, doctors discovered cancer. John met this crisis as he met any challenges before - head-on. He did not know how to quit. The courage he displayed will be an example for each of us. Prologue The years after graduation will be the most important ones of our lives, We must set our goals carefully and then strive to attain them, In order to make our youthful dreams become reality, we must work, Our quest to fulfill these dreams will be difficult, but not impossible. Maturity and flexibility are the primary elements which will determine our success or failure. The world is ever- changing, and, in order to succeed, we must have the maturity to face it without qualms and the flexibility to change with it,.
