Although the past year had many good moments, like any other year, it, also, brought its disappoint- ments and sorrows, Mr, Harry Parris, a science teacher who spent 33 dedicated years at Rindge, died suddenly in the fall, John McNamara, a Junior, whose potential was yet untapped, but whose enthu- siasm and spirit will always be a goal for others to aim at, died this spring, To honor them both, the senior class respectfully dedicates this yearbook, MR, HARRY A. Prologue The years after graduation will be the most important ones of our lives, We must set our goals carefully and then strive to attain them, In order to make our youthful dreams become reality, we must work, Our quest to fulfill these dreams will be difficult, but not impossible, Maturity and flexibility are the primary elements which will determine our success or failure. The world is ever-changing, and, in order to succeed, we must have the maturity to face it without qualms and the flexibility to change with it. If we hesitate onbe- come complacent our dreams will shatter and we will be heard vainly echoing regret that ‘It might have been , God pity them both; and pity us all Who vainly the dreams of youth recall For of all sad words of tongue or pen The saddest are these: ‘It might have been’.
