PROLOGUE Well, here it is, the Rindge Brownie, with the complete account of the constant strife of a group of fine young men who will be the adults of tomorrow. Some of them have accomplished unforgettable deeds: others have done something of some kind or another to show their high character They have harvested the tree of knowledge and they will always bear its fruit gratefully. When we first came to Rindge, we saw a beautiful white build- ing and began to feel a stirring in our hearts . . . pride in the thought of being a part of it, even a small part. We would try our best and would hope our best would carry us through. Therefore, we cherish the memories of our four happy years at Rindge and this yearbook will serve to supply a visible bond con- taining, as it does, a record of the accomplishment of our class. But it is not for us, The Senior Yearbook Committee, to judge the deeds of our classmates: instead, we let you read and judge for yourself whether they have kept up with the tradition of Old Rindge.

MR. WILLIAM J. KELLEHER Acting Headmaster We, the graduating Class of 1961, wish to express our gratitude to Mr. William Kelleher. It is with sadness that we bid farewell to him. In the last four years, the road to learning was not an easy one at times, but his devotion to teach- ing has helped us to see into the complexity of life with a greater clarity than ever before. Without his everlasting guidance, many of us would not be in this graduat- ing class. The only words that can sum up our feelings are: “Thank you, Mr. Kelleher.”
