Prologue At last the long awaited day arrives, filling each of us with mixed emotions of happiness and sadness. We are happy because of our achievements and sad because we are leaving Rindge. Since we take a great deal of pride in our school, we would like to have you meet us within its walls and follow us backwards through our four years in Rindge, then forward to our hopes for the future. We, as Rindge Seniors, sincerely hope the follow- ing pages will do this. five

four Dedication The Class of 1951 feels — and rightly so — that this, our Class Yearbook, should be dedicated to a man, who guided our destinies for three-fourths of our high school life. Although Mr. John W. Wood is now Headmaster Emeritus of Rindge, to the Class of 1951 he will be recalled as a kindly, understanding gentleman and scholar. To you, Mr. Wood, the Class of 1951 hopes you enjoy many years of a richly deserved retirement. You have left indelibly on Rindge the fruits of your labor. Neither time nor future happenings can ever erase your name from the number one position on the illustrious Rindge Honor Roll.
