RINDGE TECH SCHOOL Wiz ay: mat F, A WW w p JDO OW KE TRON: As WE PREPARE to take our leave of Rindge, we cannot help but feel a tinge of sadness at leaving behind one who has been our guiding light for the last four years. Throughout our stay here, you were al- ways ready to lend a helping hand to those who needed it, sacrificing your time so that our road to knowledge would be an easier one. We shall never forget you, Mr. Wood, even though we may be far from here. Time may erase landmarks but time can never erase the ever- lasting memory of the man who filled the difficult task of being both a friend and a headmaster. Your kind and deep understanding of boys and their troubles endeared all that came in contact with you. We leave Rindge as one of the many graduating classes and add our names to those who count yours as a friend- ship whose influence shall be always felt. With humble respect, the Class of 1940 dedicates the “Brownie” of 1940 to Mr. John W. Wood. Jae eaecesee ‘evVeage sb pesweccous Seases eb oe ad eaee gee aasseas ees seneseun eaeeee meses sagesuases

“THE BROWNIE” MR. JAMES F. CONLIN f YC ee ee E, the Class of ’40 of Rindge Technical School, have found that Mr. Conlin’s outward sterness combined with practical wisdom have played a decisive part in the shaping of our lives. He has demanded a respect from us for the school, teachers, and traditions. Mr. Conlin has been with Rindge for thirty-five years, during which he has served as an instructor of French and Spanish. He is at present time Assistant Head- master of our beloved Alma Mater. Throughout every one of these thirty-five years you, Mr. Conlin, have been an indispensable figure in the administration of this school. Mr. Conlin—We the class of ’40 salute you.
