JEROME S. O’CONNELL “Okey” 46 Plymouth Street. 18 years “Okey” came from the Kelley School where he was a student of high standing. He took up a printing course and received very good marks. He played for the Freshman baseball team. He is intending to go to the Uni- versity of California. STANLEY THOMAS OLEY “Stushie” 20 Washburn Avenue. 17 years, 6 months He came from the Ellis Grammar School. Has a job waiting for him when he leaves Rindge. Would like to follow up electricity but doesn’t seem adapted to that kind of work. He had to work to stay in school. Ski Club ’26. JOSEPH J. O’RIELLY “Riley” 24 Alberta Terrace. 17 years, 10 months Joseph is a graduate from St. Mary’s Parochial School. Plans to be a printer or stenographer. Loves out-door life and enjoys it immensely. Served on the Football Dance Committee. Color Guard ’27, ’28, ’29, Traffic Squad ’27, 28, °29, Travel Club ’28, 29, Glee Club ’30. GEORGE JOSEPH O’SULLIVAN “Ossie” 129 Mt. Auburn Street. 19 years, 2 months “Ossie” came from St. Paul’s School to Rindge four years ago. He loves aviation and everything connected with it. Plans to study aviation. Glee Club ’28. TILIO PAGLIERANI “Tic,” “Pulmer” 30 Hastings Street. 19 years Graduated from the Roberts Grammar School four years ago. He intends to enter Levyeil Institute of Technology. He plans to work for the govern- ment. Cross Country ’27. ARTHUR D. PAIVA “Fat”’ 319 Columbia Street. 17 years, 7 months Graduated from the Wellington Grammar School. Came to Rindge to study radio and electricity. When he leaves Rindge he will attend the New England Conservatory of Music. Arthur is vice president of the Radio Club and has been a member for the last two years. Took part in “The Vaga- bonds,” “The Text,” and the ‘First Christmas Tree.” Served on the Junior Prom Committee and the Senior Drama Committee. Class Vice President ’28, 729 ANTHONY VICTOR PAINO PeOMy a 51 Plymouth Street. 18 years, 7 months Next we have “Tony,” one of Rindge’s star actors. “Tony” has taken part in two operettas and many plays. He played the role of the chief of police in the Senior drama to perfection. Besides his dramatic interests “Tony” has been active in several clubs and school enterprises, as well as being prominent in class aaffirs. He is undecided whether to go to college next year cr take a P. G. course, but he is determined to study aviation, a subject which he has profitably studied through scale models. FRANK FRED POPOLI “Pop” 1 Jefferson Street. 18 years “Pop” graduated from the Wellington Grammar School. When he leaves Rindge he will go to work (his best friend). He studied auto principally. Played football for two years. Took part in the 1928 Christmas play.

FRANCIS LEONARD McCARTHY “Mac” 289 Columbia Street. 17 years, 10 months “Mac” may be seen any day at the lunch counter distributing milk. Francis came to Rindge from St. Mary’s School four years ago. If anyone sees a stray clerical job, lead Francis to it as that is his plans. Glee Club ’27; Traf- fic Squad. LEONARD D. McCARTHY smile PY, 3 Athens Terrace. 18 years, 6 months Leonard came from the Houghton Grammar School. Would like to be a clerk and do clerical work. A soft collar job for Leonard. He was on the ball team that won the indoor championship last year. Prom ’26, Glee Club ’27, ’28. JOHN CONRAD MERKLE “Connie” 1106A Massachusetts Avenue. 17 years, 7 months John came to Rindge from the Houghton School and took an electrical course. He also plans to follow electricity up and to make it his future work. John has many hobbies, among which are playing baseball and driving an automobile. LEONARD JOSEPH MICELI “Smoky” 27 Aberdeen Avenue. 17 years, 8 months “Smoky” is undecided about his future but would like to work at elec- tricity. It is his favorite subject. He is one of the many goed students at Rindge that came from the Russell Grammar School. GEORGE JOSEPH MICKLE “Midget” 22 Rockwell Street. 17 years, 3 months The little man is going to the University of Southern California. He came to Rindge four years ago from the Webster School. George likes to play foot- ball and baseball. JOSEPH STANLEY MINESKI ES sem Gees 150 Gore Street. 19 years Joseph came from St. Hedwig’s Parochial School. Joseph is going to be- come an automobile repairman. He likes to unravel mysterious crimes. Played a little football and basketball for Rindge. HENRY THOMAS MITCHELL “Mitch” 395 Washington Street. 16 years, 9 months Henry came to Rindge four years ago from St. Mary’s Parochial School. He intends to learn a business or trade. He did best in academic subjects. Glee Club ’29, ’30, Travel Club ’28, ’29, Alumni Editor ’30, Science Club ’27. FOREST FRANCIS MURRAY 19 Trowbridge Street. 18 years, 3 months Francis came from the Harvard Grammar School. He made machinery his main subject while at Rindge. He would like to obtain a job designing machinery. JAMES JOSEPH NORMILE “Jimmie” 120 Henry Street. 17 years “Jimmie” came to Rindge from the Webster Grammar School. While at Rindge he studied a general course. He was very active at Rindge, playing baseball and hockey. He played second base on the baseball team, and left wing on the hockey team. Hockey ’29, ’30, Law Club ’29, Travel Club ’28, ’29, Baseball ’29, 730. ARTHUR JAMES O’LEARY Are 20 Edwin Street, Dorchester. 18 years, 1 month “Art” came to Rindge from the Grover Cleveland School. He likes to col- lect stamps. He played drums and was on the Color Guard. He was on the Senior reception committee in 1929 and Miss Ward’s reception the same year.

DOMINIC JOSEPH PROCETO “Dany” 103 Seventh Street. 16 years, 11 months Came to Rindge from the Sacred Heart Parochial School. Dominic would like to become a musician. His favorite study was French. While at Rindge he won a bugle. Travel Club ’28, ’29, Color Guard, Traffic Squad. GEORGE BERNARD ROPER “Bosco” 13 George Street. 17 years, 2 months Four years ago “Bosco” came to Rindge from St. John’s School. His favorite subject is economics and law. He loves to sweep floors also. He loves to take part in sports but never went out for any of the Rindge teams. RICHARD RIDEOUT “Dick? 9A Richdale Avenue. 17 years, 10 months “Dick” graduated from the Washington Grammar School, Boston. He is very interested in mechanical drawing as it is his favorite subject. He is a very industrious boy as he works afternoons and sometimes nights. Travel Club, Aero Club. JOSEPH W. SANDAGATO “Sandy” 33 Thingvalla Avenue Joseph is a graduate of the Russell Grammar School. He is undecided as to his future, he may decide to become president of the United States. Everyone knows “Joe” because he is always wearing a smile. Glee Club ’28, 29, ’°30, Color Guard ’27, ’28, ’29, ’°30 (captain two years), Traffic Squad ’28, ’29, 30. AUGUST J. SARDINHA “Augie” 313 Elm Street. 17 years, 3 months He came to Rindge from the Wellington School. He took a printing course at Rindge. He intends to follow it up. He is an ardent lover of Eng- lish and all academic subjects. Checker Club ’28, Travel Club ’28, Radio Club 27, ’28, Science Club ’27. CORNELIUS J. SHEA “Connie” 3d Tufts Street. 18 years “Connie” came to Rindge from the Morse Grammar School. Intends to go to work and finish his education at Technology nights. “Connie” is a Won- derful dancer, all the girls adore him. He won a silver cup for dancing. JOHN PATRICK SHERIDAN “Red” 7 Sparks Street. 17 years, 6 months Here is another printing fellow. After graduating “Red” plans to go into the printing business. At present, Shop Mathematics seems to be his meat. He is also deeply interested in ath stics. At the same time, “Red” plans to attend Northeastern Evening Schooi. Well, so long and good luck! MANUEL JOSEPH SIMONDS ES? 182 Third Street. 17 years, 8 months This short, smart young fellow came from the Putnam School four years ago and since that time has been invaluable in his aid in setting up the Reg- ister. His favorite subject seems to be printing, which he hopes to continue out in the World of Hard Knocks, the University of Experience. Good luck! JOHN BRENDAN SKINNER Tale deh 1 Malcolm Road. 17 years, 5 months There is no need to say anything further than to mention “J. B.” for evry- one in school recognizes those initials as the one’s which have been among the foremost on the Honor Roll for the past four years.
