JUDO CLUB -N E34 The Future Nurses Club functions to prepare members for careers in nursing. During the year, club members visit hos- pitals and work as aides, doing miscel- laneous iobs for the hospital staff. The art of judo teaches methods of self-defense. Although it is similar to wrestling, it depends more on skill and knowledge of the body's weak spots, than on weight and strength as wrestling does. Mr. Smith, sponsor of the Judo Club since its organization last year, has dili- gently coached the boys on this age old art. -xi. e ' g .-..M,, 1, if L . -- ,K ..-. fr' ' r -- '- ' .--.-:f.- ,N-1. at ,,.L.. -.
