With the aid ot club sponsor, Mr. Larry Bool, the lettermen spon- sored a beard-growing contest in conjunction with the annual Rodeo Dance, which is tra- ditionally sponsored bythe Letterman's Club. 4 HALL MONITORS Row 1: Carolyn Hammer, Jane Hauser, Sharon Wilkerson, Sharlot Cumings, Linda Brewer, Karen Brown, and Anne Hotchkiss. Row 2: Fernando Pacheco, Marty Warnock, Blair Bontekoe, Ted Montgomery, Sue Miles, Maryle Chandler, Ann Haas, Cherry Stanbrook, Sharlene Jones, Hall Monitor checks for a hall pass, and Jackie Hottman. Row 3: Mike Armstrong, Mike Prime, Steve Edwards, Earle Franks, Steve Bell, Ed Molinski, Roland Arellano, Don McNeil, Bates Butler, Alan Herman, Marian Klenendais, and George Turnbull. A hall monitor is a student who is posted at a station during his study hall period, to check hall passes. Monitors are assigned to such posts as entrances, exits and stairways. lt is each monitor's duty to report to the office, persons who have no authorization to be in Rincon's halls, and to prevent stu- dents frorn leaving school while it is in ses- sion. Mr. Johnson serves as sponsor of the Hall Monitors.
