2 Acknowledgements We hope, in years to come, as you look back on your memorable years at Rincon, your 1961 KRAWHIDEU will serve as a movie screen portraying all the exciting events in which you participated as a student body. Producing a yearbook is a big challenge. Our first frustration came when we were looking over 3,000 unnamed class pictures. Soon, we discovered that the publication of a yearbook was not only challenging and full of hard work, but fun-filled and exciting. There were many times when our efforts seemed fruitless. But, as time passed, things somehow got settled, and our work seemed worthwhile. We appreciate the leadership and assistance of our advisor, Mr. Neil Meyer, who gave time and earnest support to the success of the RAYVHIDEf, Mr. Northam and his photography staff have been a tremendous asset to us. We could not have continued without them. Special thanks go to Mr. Robert Gaines of Gaines Studios. To many other people We offer our sincere thanks: Mr. Slagle, the administration, and the bookstore for their ardent encouragement and never ending service. Mr. Tassi and his printing department. Newsfoto Publishing Company and their Tucson representative, Mel VVakefield, for their cooperation. Tucson Typographers for help in setting the format of the book. Mr. Walt Hall of Marvel's Photography for his cheerful service. For supplying material for senior class picture drapes, We extend appreciation to Lil's Fabric Shop and Jacomes, Department Store. For their cooperation on the annual Christmas Dance, we would like to thank Sears, Roe- buck and Co., J. C. Penney display department, Hacker Furniture Company, Westerners Flor- ist and Hal Burns Flowers. For background used in the rodeo pictures, our thanks to Zary South. And to our many patrons We extend our gratitude. Most of all, we thank you, our student friends, who helped us to plot this trail of cher- ished memories of our high school years. - Sincerely, The KRAWHIDE '6li' Staff
