Row 2: Dick Brown- ing, Marty XVilson, Steve Vincent, Ray Dickerson, Tim Davies, Les Bimam, Richie Quiwn, jim Matison, Tom Repp, Allan Teasley and Bill jones. Row 3: Eddie Groenert, Sumner Stone, Richard VVilson, Doug Forte, Mills Pace, Bill Pattison, Chuch Pent, Mike Heath and Marvin Barg. SOPHCMORE TRI-HI-Y Phnedia Chi Tri Hi Y is an organi- zation for girls inter- ested in being of service to the community. This past year members undertook several proj- ects including making sheets for the Cerebral Palsy Foundation and donated their time to the House of Neighbor- ly Service. A worker from Mother Higgens Detention Home spoke to the girls on the prin- ciples and purposes of the home, and later in the year, members took a tour of the home. Phnedie Chi members held a car wash and col- lected pop bottles to raise money for the club. Tri-Chicas, for junior girls, undertook many projects this past year. At Christmas they col- lected food for a desti- tute family and later re- ceived a letter of ap- preciation frorn the family. Tri-Chicas held a bake sale and col- lected thr e e thousand hangers which they sold to dry cleaners. Since membership was lim- ited, prospective mem- bers who collected the greatest amount of hangers were admitted. 129

JU IOR RED CRCSS At the beginning of the year, ach homeroom elected one stu- lent to be a member of the unior Red Cross Representa- ives. Through this representa- ive, every homeroom learned he purpose and goals of the unior Red Cross. The Iunior Red Cross aided he national organization in 'ariying out the annual Red Iross Drive. In each homeroom he representative collected con- ributions and presented con- ributors with an official Red Iross membership card and a min. This year's junior Bed Iross sponsor was Miss Hulse.
