The German Club, or- ganized in 1958, has been a very active club at Rincon. The club met once a month for the purpose of better acquainting members with German culture, customs, composers, and language. With the help of Mr. Krebbs, German Club spon- sor, German students par- ticipated in the Forensic tournament held in March. At the end of the year a party was held for all club members. LATIN FORUM GIVES ANNUAL BANQUET Any student enrolled in a Latin course is eligible for the Latin Forum. Various types of programs were pre- sented at Forum meet- ings, and students heard r e p o r t s on different phases of Latin culture. Latin students partici- pated in the Forensic Tournament in the spring. Mr. Valencia of- fered his help and time to all Latin students. Officers for this year's Latin Forum were ex- cellent in handling all business which arose. FRENCH CLUB The French Club is an organization for students studying French who are interested in learning more about the customs of France. At club meetings guest speakers familiarize students with the mode of life in France. Slides and films of Paris and other French cities are shown to acquaint members with the French people. During the Christmas hol- idays club members sang French carols to patients at two local hospitals.
