ECHO KEEPS RINCON Marilyn Haugan, co-editor, carefully proof- read all articles and ncws items comprising the Echo. The Echo, bi-monthly newspaper of Rincon High School ranks among the finest high school papers in the state. Led by co-editors Marilyn Haugan, Lanny Rosen- baum, and staff members who spent many hours re- porting and writing interesting news stories. Along with their energetic and efficient sponsor Miss Kalil, they learned many things, not only about writing for a news- paper, but in working harmoniously with others. A larger size page and a new type of print were initiated by the Echo this year on which were presented many informative editorials and exciting feature articles. Staff members, chosen for their talent, experience, scholarship and compatability have labored to produce a high-quality newspaper for the students and faculty of Rincon High School. Lanny Rosenbaum, co-editor, spent many long hours helping staff members to organize each Echo page. Miss Kalil, acl1Ji.sor, supervised the Echo staff and guided them in producing the Echo.
