ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS It is an experience, this business of publishing a yearbook. We went to work eagerly in the fall, our key words soon became, 'cafter we get this deadline over, it will become easier, but somehow it never did. We dug our way from under 2,510 class pictures, to exciting sport shots, to the grinning ranks of over 25 clubs. We threatened to wire Louie's Lower Level with hi-fi rather than publish a yearbook, we repelled threats from all those around us, we plowed our way through hours of work with spells of howling laughter. In off moments we got re-acquainted with friends, or even did homework. But now our KBAWHIDED is published. Our work is finished, and so are we. We've had it, now you have it, and we hope you like it. It is to many people that have contributed much time and effort that we give wholehearted appreciation and acknowledgment: Mr. Tassi, our sponsor, for his never ending help, tolerance and understanding. Newsfoto Publishing Company, our publisher, and Mel Wakefield, their Tucson representative, who has given helpful and needed suggestions. M31VCl,S Photography Studio, our photographer, who has contributed so much to the success of the annual. Mr. Slagle and the administrators, Mrs. Christison and the English Department, and Mr. Northam and the Photography Department for their patience and lenience towards our problems. The many others: Cele Peterson, Mays VVornen's Apparel, and jules Jewels for jewelry, sweaters and royalty gifts, McCullough Florists for royalty flowers, Ray Manley for the negatives lent us for our end sheets, and the subscribers of the 1960 RAWHIDE.D Without these we could not have achieved our goal. And to the wonderful staff members themselves, thanks for their work, ideas and attitudes. Sincerely, Cathy Maddock Editor-in-Chief
