The Ranger harriers, under the direction of Coach Cody Mothershed, closed the 1959 cross-country season with a 2-5 record. Paced by senior Iohn Lacy and junior Fred Anderson, the Ranger squad defeated the Sal- pointe Lancers twice. Coach Mothershed commented that the squad showed a marked improvement this season, placing tenth in the State Meet. Last year, the boys came in nineteenth out of the twenty running.
