FRESHMEN Coach Andy RllIHlC,S frosh squad completed a notable season this year as it established a respectable 9-3 record. Their only defeats were at the hands ot Tucson High and Pueblo. The biggest victory was the other game against Pueblo. ,M A ' Coming into the game, Pueblo had established a 31-game PIU wwf'- consecutive winning streak, R.lI.S. had the pleasure of Chalk- - ff ing up a 45-30 win. The Ranger basehallers began their first year in AA competition with a game against Sunnyside. The pre- vious season found the Rangers, under the direction of Coach Lee Carey, sporting a 9-6 record. Last yearis schedule was played against A and B schools plus several local junior varsities. This yearls squad had high hopes of giving any team in the state a run for their money. The pitching staff was again headed by senior Dan Schneider and sophomore Bob jackson. Posting a young team, the squad Will have several returning starters next year. LEE CAREY A - . ix., ' 11'r?
