m The next game found the Rangers chalking up their sixth straight Win as they rolled to an easy triumph over Douglas. Holding Douglas to a halftime score of 27-0, Coach King cleared his bench for the remainder of the game. After defeating Douglas 51-16, Rincon faced the mighty Trojans. By rallying in the final five minutes of play, the hustling Rangers were able to overpower Catalina 52-45. The thrilling intra-city and conference tilt was viewed by 2,700 screaming fans. Guard Mike Summers out-jumps this Douglas Bull- dog to 166 snag a rebound. f Successfully beginning the holiday season, R.H.S. stepped in to down the Salpointe Lancers 55-36. Center Jerry Cicotte led the scoring parade with 19 markers but was closely shadowed XELU HM Guard ,Af BOB DUNCAN Forward-Guard 1 by Dick Koenig who scored 14 points and snagged 15 rebounds. Upon returning from the Christmas holidays, Rincon met a strong Pueblo team. Again sparked by Cicotte and Koenig, the team was able to dump the hustling XVarriors 64-52.
