i reshmen What happens on the first day of school when you are a freshman at Rim? Weil, you always hear about the great activities, you say I am going to start going to all the dances, football games, and all the other things you ' re supposed to do when you are in high school. You hear rumors about getting trashcann- ed, you wonder about the halls on the defense, watching for any suspicious senior that might enjoy canning you. You wonder if the whole year will go on in the same manner. Things don ' t seem so bad when you miss class for the afternoon to attend the freshman picnic. At the picnic you play games, eat lots of good food and are welcomed to Rim in a very special way. With all this happening you still can ' t help thinking only a year and I ' ll be a sophomore; I ' ll know my way around the halls, and won ' t be late for class. I ' ll even be taller than the freshman. Best of all you realize that the worst is over and there is only three more years left!
