I uniora Rcxrking to their own beat, the Junior Class set a rhythm never to be duplicated, it started on Homecoming night when the crowd roared, as did the dragon on their first place Homecoming float. It was another prize-winning float marked for the class of ' 84. When it came to raising money, the Junior Class took on the responsibility eagerly. The Juniors knew that concessions would be their big money raiser and were ready to give it their all. The lack of home foot- ball games and the weather challenged their efforts but their enthusiasm remained strong and those losses were made up for by concession sales during many other events. Later in the year, among the pancakes and eggs of the Junior Breakfast and the hot dogs and hamburgers of their Bar-b-que, was a funfilled crowd and ambitious leaders all seeking the unity and spirit these events provided. Careful planning and lots of hard work by the officers was evident, as was the time and direction the class advisors John Fenn, George Stehmeier, and Gerry VomSteeg unselfishly gave in providing these and many other school activitie.s and fund raisers that proved both successful and rewarding. Yet, not only in social activities did the Class of ' 84 set their rhythm, but also in the many talents they displayed in academics and athletics. The Juniors were well represented in honor roll and other academic honors. They also represented themselves in numerous art, musical, and athletic competitions throughout the year, . achieving many achievements and victories. The final and most unique rhythm was ad- ded to their year as the Junior-Senior Prom was organized and successfully brought about. It was an event much enjoyed in the atmosphere of the elegant, newly-built Lake Arrowhead Hilton. A gourmet dinner was served prior to the dance — Something never before attempted in Rim High School ' s history. It was new and en- joyable and became a Prom never to be forgotten. 68 Hard working Junior Class officers: President Oeena Anderson, Treasurer Steve McCreery, Secretary Carmen Victor and Vice Presi- dent David Huey. Right: Dan Rumfalojust sittin ' in.
