P.E. When one thinks of physical education many are inclined to think of fun and games. At Rim High this is not true. This year students had the choice of weightlifting, volleyball, football, soccer, tennis, and still much more. Physical train- ing and coordination are two important aspects in staying healthy and physically fit. This is the reason our faculty strive so hard to offer as many activities as they possibly could. Along with teaching us how to use our physical abilities, our faculty also taught us what it takes to stick to a goal and how determination can build character. Tim Steele — Dept. m usmess M USIC The teachers of the business department worked hard to develop students ' skills. During uncertain economic times, these skills were greatly needed. Whether a stu- dent plans to attend college or move into the business world, the skills they developed here will help immensely. Many students struggled with the confusing keys of the typewriters, but with practice, many d eveloped a quick hand. Shorthand may look foreign to several people, but the students have learned to use it to their best advantage. Students in accounting dealt with figures which are used in business careers. Basic Occupational Skills were of- fered to students for experience with forms, numbers, and skills they ' ll use in the future. The Music Department had fine facilities and hard working teachers to help the students. There were many talented and devoted students who had special interests in music. They participated in special events including tours, concert, and other performances. The students and teachers had to work long and hard to develop good, sound music. At times, this work became tiresome but in the end they were all proud of what they had accomplished.
