D The Drama club was once again the most active club on campus. Among their many activities were the Halloween Dance and Costume day, the homecoming float, a cookbook sale, the delivery of Santa Grams, the preforming Arts Dinner, Varie- ty Show, and the heart of the club, the Fall and Spring productions. Drama club is sponsored by Joan Neumann. Officers included President Sharee Foley, vice president Sherri Cipich, secretary-treasurer Tami Leibowitz and commisioner of activited Jeanne Torrey. Field trips to Alpine Mall and other culture centers, pot luck dinners and discussions with foreign exchange students at club lunches enabled students to become aquainted with foriegn customs and attitudes. Jarle Eldevick, sponsor of the organization, was an invaluable source of information and guidance concerning Germanic languages and cultures. His sponsorship lent a unique flavor to the club. jbpanish l .l .Iv, The Spanish Club was more involved than ever. With the help of officers Jenn y Amen president, Ken Ellithorpe vice president, Scott Heitz secretary, and Chris Miranda treasurer, the Spanish club was able to keep up traditions set long ago. The annual pizza party was very suc- cessful, as was the Cinco de Mayo trip to Olvera Street. Valentine grams were sold and promoted spirit within the club as well as the school. A special thanks went to club sponsors Mr. Martinez and Mrs. Garcia for their ef- forts and support. This spirit club started when a bunch of crazy people formed a club in honor of their favorite comedian, Steve Martin. In the past, the club has gone to participate in the Rocky Horror Picture Show. V arsity l rackpota The Varsity Club proved to be most promi- nant in promoting school spirit. The club work together with sponsor Coach Tim Steel to hold various fund raisers such as the Donkey Basketball game which was most successful. Members include: Vanilla Thunder, Italian Stalian, David R. Ybarra Jr. (Yatary), Margaret Harris (Oreo), Stacy Williams, Cipper Hargreaves (V.P.), Bird Gregson (President), Zane G. Boyster II, Steve Lee. Crackpots, under the supervision of Gerry VomSteeg, has become one of the most ac- tive clubs on campus. The clubs ' main purpose is to promote creativity among our schools ' talented ceramic students. Each year they sell their art work in the community, with the money going to sup- port the club and the student activities.
