to Play . As the school days grew colder, snow skiers hoped for snow. Our first big storm was in November, and students waxed their skis and drove up to our local ski resorts. Many students returned to school with racoon-eyes and nobody believed that they were sick! The students could not resist the fresh fallen snow and took advantage of its rarity. Some students had to shovel out their cars before they went anywhere, but devoted snow skiers made it to the slopes at any cost. From the begin- ners to the advanced, they all fun on the snow this year. Student Life — 1 GS

People Just Love The mountains offer many activities for students to be involved in. We may not have several theaters, dance places, malls, etc., but we have the outdoors. In September, students were enjoying the sun by the lakes in our areas. Colorful sails were seen floating across the waters while skiers sprayed by. Boat races, ski races, and sailboat races were fun for students to participate in or just to watch the excite- ment. A good sport for all seasons, warm or cold, is offroading. Thrill seaking students like to get away from it all and get crazy in the dirt. A.T.C. ' s, motorcycles, four-wheelers, dune buggies, and odysys were seen all over the dirt roads at any time of the year. Many of Rim High ' s students learn and become involved in out- door activities here, then they like to go and experience in other areas. Of course, students enjoy many other activities that we haven ' t mentioned, but these are ones we can truly take advantage of because we live in the midst of it all. 16 - Student Life
