reams The twenty-seventh annual homecoming festivity created unsurpassable memories. The lost spirit at Rim High was rediscovered as the Scots came alive in an unprecedented fashion. Scot Pride was seen in every student, classroom, and hallway at Rim. Each was proud to be a Rim Scot, and it showed. Dreams of good times, royalty, and victory filled our every thought as our Homecoming drew near. Spirit Week helped to raise our Scot Pride to heights never reached before. Semi- Formal Day kicked off Spirit Week with a touch of class, followed by Tie Day, Tourist Day, Hat Day, and Red, White, and Blue Day. Carnations were sold by the senior class for one dollar and handed out with their messages on Friday. We came to the end of our Spirit Week with feelings of excitement and curiosity over the Homecoming game. The Homecoming Court finalists and the princesses were an- nounced at our Pep Rally. Shay Jensen was the proud freshman princess, Jenny Williams became this year ' s sophomore princess, and Deena Anderson was the junior princess. The game arrived and our Scot Pride shin- ed brightly of dreams of victory. With ar- tistic floats awaiting their halftime perfor- mance, we watched our Mighty F: hting Scots battle the Perris Panthers. Our dreams of victory were shattered as Perris received their Christmas present in Oc- tober and luckily recovered a fumble in their end zone to defeat the Scots in over- time, 13-7. Halftime came upon us, and the floats shined as never before. The junior class, led by Deena Anderson displayed their talent and imagination in their first place float, followed by senior class and the sophomore. Excitement filled the air as we all anticipated the crowning of Rim High ' s King and Queen of 1982. The court was carried in on an array of cars. Our curiosity was finally satisfied as the court was announced. John Lubisich and Patti Edwards were the proud Prince and Princess of the senior class. David Harich and Debbie Nunn became Duke and Maid of Honor. Saturday night we rocked to Keeper. The senior Class was proud of their job well done.
