1 he music is you Music makes pictures and often tells stories, all of it ' s magic and all of it ' s true; and all of the pictures and all of stories and all of tfie magic, the music is you. Music has enhanced the flavor of living since the beginning of time, it sets a feeling for all people, styles, and eras. Through clouded skies or brilliant blue days a song is found to fit every emotion. An old song can warm us with memories and as we join in the chorus we ' re able to relive a happening or period of time to which the song is a brother. Our year at Rim has become just that. A song we ' ve composed ourselves; a song we will hear everytime we open this book. By collecting bits of everyone ' s verse we have created a melody; a memory that we can cherish forever; we can hold fast to the notes that were the keys of our lives. reams The twenty-seventh annual homecoming festivity created unsurpassable memories. The lost spirit at Rim High was rediscovered as the Scots came alive in an unprecedented fashion. Scot Pride was seen in every student, classroom, and hallway at Rim. Each was proud to be a Rim Scot, and it showed. Dreams of good times, royalty, and victory filled our every thought as our Homecoming drew near. Spirit Week helped to raise our Scot Pride to heights never reached before. Semi- Formal Day kicked off Spirit Week with a touch of class, followed by Tie Day, Tourist Day, Hat Day, and Red, White, and Blue Day. Carnations were sold by the senior class for one dollar and handed out with their messages on Friday. We came to the end of our Spirit Week with feelings of excitement and curiosity over the Homecoming game. The Homecoming Court finalists and the princesses were an- nounced at our Pep Rally. Shay Jensen was the proud freshman princess, Jenny Williams became this year ' s sophomore princess, and Deena Anderson was the junior princess. King and Queen of 1982, John Lubisich and Patti Edwards Thejr. classjoinedby Puff the Magic Dragon. Splish-Splash the seniors are taking a bath. 9 — Homecoming
