RIGBY H IGH SCHOOL JUDIOI' PFOITI On March 27 1942 the Junuor Class pre sented Its annual prom at Rlverslde Gardens The theme of the dance was Vlctory and the enture hall was decorated to slgnlfy vlctory In this war As you stepped Into the outer foyer you were handed a lovely sulver and blue Statue of Liberty program The first thmg that met your eyes was a glgantlc flag stretching the entlre wldth of the entrance Through the stars and strvpes of Old Glory you stepped unto the hall to behold a spectacular patrlotlc scene At the farther end of the hall stood the Statue of Liberty In all her twelve feet of American Leglon poster which read For God and Country The bandstand was draped un fllmy white with large eagles at Intervals ln the center of the bandstand was a large V studded wlth gold stars The rest of the decoratuons were com pleted with flags on the parapets and walls being as we were asked not to use paper At untermlsslon the Junuor and Sensor classes promenaded Mlss Luberty was represented by Mlss Marjorie Olson a Sensor She was chosen by the entlre student body The committees un charge of the Prom were as follows Decoration Barbara Dansle Von da Flsher Wulma Walker Wendell Jones Fay Peterson and Lynn Saxton Advertising Dona lue Hebdon Phyllis Roundy Wayne Nanney Wayne Chapman and Howard Rowe Tickets Reta Packer Betty Brown and Lee Wllson We as Juniors were very proud of this Prom and hope to see another excellent one luke nt next year umor creatlveness mque decoratuons ew Ideas nterestlng features racular orchestra esponslve students romenadlng Seniors CVIVIHQ refreshments K d frollc errlment en masse All These Spell the Success of the Most Important Social Event of the School Year Don says everything IS right above except the Responsive Students CAN YOU IMAGINE llfr Good being late for school Mr Brewster talklng to the gurls without blush mg Wrlrna Walker with less than three boys on the strung queendom.
