New surroundings, new studies and new ways didn't have us confused for long. By taking an active part in clubs and ath- letics we soon showed that we possessed, not only the ability to quickly adjust ourselves to new conditions, but also that we had considerable leadership ability. As our years in high school passed, most of the members of our class took advantage of the opportunities to develop this quality. Our junior year was high-lighted by the arrival of our class rings and by our Prom which was based on the theme of An Evening in Parisf' Our senior year has been filled with wonderful memories: football and basketball games, our Snoball, class parties, and our senior trip to VVashington, D. C. To climax this year we at- tended Senior chapel, Baccalaureate, and finally that night of all nights-Commencement. Many of us will be leaving to attend college, others will find employment, but wc will always look back with fond memories to our years at Ridgway High and be thankful for the qualities of scholarship, leadership, and sportsmanship that were instilled in us during the years that we were here. 14
