The Senior Dlciq The senior class of 1955, on the evening of December 9, presented a three-act comedy entitled Clementine. The whole play revolved around Clemen- tine's transformation from a tomboy to a young lady. When Clem was invited to go to Cathy's Girl-Date Party, she reluctantly asked Hank in a very ungracious manner. Hank refused Clem, but accepted Cathy's invitation. This irked Clem, so she decided she would get revenge on Hank by beating him in an oratorical contest. During the contest Clem angered Miss Prin- gle who had quite a bit of influence in town elections as head of the Women Voters' League. Since Clem's father was running for mayor, this might have ruined his chances to win. Clem won the contest, but when she learned she had en- dangered her father's chances to be elected, she went to Miss Pringle and apologized and sold her on her dad's program. By this action Clem proves to Hank that she is a lady and wins his heart which brings the play to a happy conclusion. Much credit must be given to the cast and Miss Jones, the director, for producing such a good play.
