After that first shaking-up, we remained as meek, little angels for the entire term. But then came the sophomore year and the 6S returning angels soon lost their halos. After passing Drivers' Training, we joined the world of wheels and went out to smash fenders. The teachers shuddered when 59 rowdy juniors came back in '66. Blemish problems rose drastically when we sold our chocolate-almond candy bars. Later on, in May. the McCurdy Hotel hosted an enthusiastic group of upperclassmen. What a Prom! And in '67's fall the administration just downright cried when 57 sophisticated (?) sen- iors appeared ... to make new friendships and renew old ones ... to create a groovy Homecoming ... to set a good example ... and finally, to sing the traditional Halls Of Ivy. 85 Q idfrv Be ufcj S tXo Be uttj — QcjH QoojJ j These girls were chosen from their portraits by the WPSD-TV Channel 6 announcers staff com- posed of Tom Bulter, Tom Siler, Joe Toy, Dan Steele, John Williams, and Bob Swisher. 3rd place winner 4th place winner 2nd place winner BONNIE WALTERS 5th place winner 86 CONNIE KEASLER ALICE MITCHELL BRENDA NELSON Q kJUw Ucm Iso 2nd place winner Ctodcyu UohA om — kl uty CXcujjfjfnd These boys were chosen from their portraits by the W PSD-TV Channel 6 co-hostesses of Dance Party, Lucy Weil and Margot Mantle.
