C. H. S. With Mr. Dallas, Mrs. Moore and Mr. Hill as our sponsors we elected David Abell, Doyle Wilson, Bob Henson, and Susie Crayne as our class officers. Cathy Abell and Dina Golden were our attendants for Homecoming our freshman year. Doyle Wilson and Alice Bradley represented us on student council. Sixty-four of us returned in the fall of '64 surviving the initiations our freshman year. Bob Henson was chosen to be president along with Patty Drone as vice-president, Cynthia Cox, secretary, and Gary Rister serving as treasurer. Our sponsors were Mr. Wiggins, Mrs. Oxford and Mr. Hill. Nancy McGuire and Marie Scherrer were elected attendants for Homecoming. We were represented with two boys in baseball; 6 boys in basketball and 2 cheerleaders. Fifty-three juniors came back in 1965. We made money for the Prom by selling candy bars. We in- vited the seniors to our prom at the McCurdy Hotel on May 6, 1966. We returned to Ridgway and saw two movies and arrived home about 5:30 Saturday morning. Our class officers that year were: President, Alice Bradley; Vice president, Cynthia Cox; Secretary-treasurer, Debby West. Class sponsors were Mr. Lehto, Mr. Wheeler and Mr. Schmitt. Two of our girls were runners-up in the popcorn queen contest and four others were candidates. In 1966 we came back for our last year together at R. C. H. S. Fifty-two seniors elected Phillip Pat- ton, President; Gary Rister, Vice-president; and Carolyn Lawler, Secretary-treasurer for their class officers. Mrs. Ramsey, Mrs. Scates and Mr. Irvin led the seniors through their last year. Debby West was student council president. Mrs. Hayden helped us with our Homecoming Rhapsody in Blue. Nancy McGuire was Homecoming queen with Vonnie Naas and Barbara Boulds as attendants. Carolyn Lawler was Popcorn Queen for 1966. Sandy Cox was 1st runner-up. Five other senior girls were queen candidates. The annual maga- zine drive was held with our class selling over $2,000. 00 worth of subscriptions. Five of our senior boys helped to win the G.E.C. tournament once again. Cathy Abell, our only senior cheerleader helped to lead, the cheering at every game. In the spring we were invited to our last prom by the juniors. All good things must come to an end, but this is not really an end; it is the beginning of a new world for each of our seniors. 27 DONNA CHERYL BLAIR BARBARA ANN BOULDS CYNTHIA MARCELLIA BOWLES ALICE ROBERTA BRADLEY CAROLYN SUE CATHEY MICHAEL LEE COOK 30 CARROLL E.
