mrfxo Qlass Nlsig or On August 28, 195k sixteen green, but eager freshmen entered Ridgeway High School. A couple weeks later we were initiated by the Honorable Juniors and we were honored with a skating party in the evening at Decorah Rollar Rink. We elected for our President David Sime, Vice President, Duane Snyder, Secretary, Sharron Hove and Treasurer, Sandra Ernst In the fall of 1955 only thirteen sophomores returned Clifford Blomgren left to go to Decorah High School and Duane Harvey and Carol Askelson went to Cresco High School Our class officers were President, Sharron Hove, Vice President, Beverly Rue and Secretary Treasurer, Charles Anderson Our Junior Year brought us a larger class with the return of Duane Harvey Our Class Offlcers were President, Denis Wemark Vice President, Charles Anderson and Secretary Treasurer, David Sime, Each member of the class certainly had his thinking cap on when it came to initiating the freshmen Nearly all of the punish ment 'in the book' was enforced upon us. The main events of our Junior Year were the Junior Senior Prom and our class play. The theme for the prom that we gave the Seniors was 'Oriental Gardens Our mothers served a banquet at the church hall which consisted of Chinese food. We then went to the gym and danced to the music of the Postville Pirate Cats At one o'clock we attended a show at Cresco, we then came back to the school and breakfast was served by our mothers All in all we would say we had a very I direction of Mrs. Carleton Baker. Our last and final year began with fifteen members Clifford Blomgren also returned. He too had had enough of other schools and so returned to Ridgeway, Our Class Officers were President, D I Sharron Hove, Vice President, Je Ro Fjelstul and Secretary Treasurer, Beverly Rue. ,J I O O ' e - ' I , - Q6 . fl O O successfull Prom. Our class play was Almost Summer' under the 3? O X V 7 7
