By drawing a bye in the first round of the Winneshiek County Junior High Basketball Tournament, the Ridgeway girls played Ossian DeSales in the finals. Although the Ridgeway girls came out on the short end, they received the runner-rp trophy. The experience gained in the county tour- nament and other games, will prove very valu- able in future years when they are leading Ridgeway High School to victory. They played Calmar in the first round of the County Tour- nament and were defeated. The boys will always claim that the reason for this is that the Calmar boys were so much taller. However, we hope that these mem- ories will soon be forgotten and the boys will be givinglots ofhelp to future Mustang teams.
