At the beginning of the school year five new members of the Student Council were elected by the student body. The council elected Wayne Kreitzer, president, Treva Sime, vice-president, and Denis Wemark, secretary-treasurer. Other members of the Council were Norvin Anderson, Senior, Wayne Wemark and Andrea Bakken, Jun- ior, Sonja Amundson, Sophomore, and Leanne Bakken and Kenneth Nesvik, Freshmen class rep- resentatives. The highlight of this year's activities was a Game Night, sponsored by the Student Council for the entire high school on November 4th, 1955. Cootie occupied about halfof the evening while the remainder was spent in various group games such as Winkum , Streets and Alleys , Jacob and Rachael and assorted relays. All who at- tended the party will long remember Norvin and Wayne Wemark galloping down the gym floor dur- ing the three-legged race! For the high school Christmas Party on Decem- ber 21st, the Student Council was in charge of decorating the tree and distributing the gifts. Dickie Armstrong did a wonderful job as a realis- tic and humorous Santa Claus. The Student Council a d de d to the Activity Fund by serving refreshments at the Homecoming and other basketball games. Heading this year's Annual Staff was Treva Sime, editor. Wayne Kreitzer was in charge of advertising and Elaine Phipps was head of the sales department. The sports editor was Harlan Bakken. Cheryl Aschim was music editor and Mary Ryan was grade editor. Richard Ladwig served as pho- rographer. Under the leadership oflvlr. Rober, advisor, the staffworked hard to meet its deadlines. A few of the members of the staff not only stayed after school to work, but also came to school at 7:30 or so in the morning. The staff had a lot of fun Putting out this year's annual and would like to wish next year's group much success. E!
