Cary Norvin Wayne Coach When coach Elmer Anderson issued his call for basketball players, only three lettermen came forth. They were Wayne Hovden, Nor- vin Anderson, and Harlan Bakken. None of these three had any previous first string experience. Thus, Coach Anderson tackled the rough job of rebuilding the team. Due largely to inexperience, the season ended with a five won and eighteen lost record. However, Ridgeway finished in fifth place in the How-Winn Conference. Two of the games. Calmar and Protivin fHornecomingJ, ended in a tie, only to be lost in the overtime, However, as the season rolled on, the team gained a lot of experience which can be used in future seasons.
