Mike Wyatt As a Senior Scholar and a member of the National Honor Soci- ety, Mike also contributed to the sports program. He participated in basketball and golf two years. During his freshman year he was chosen for All-League and Most Valuable Player in basketball. He became Captain of the basketball team his senior year. dbm Valllan ourt . It An active student at Ridgeway, Robin has displayed her partici- pation throughout her high school years. As a freshman she was on the football homecomin court, the basketball homecomin ueen, and a member of the .lriligh Honor Society and French Ciucb. She was a cheerleader during her freshman and sophomore years. Dur- ing her junior year she placed third in the Miss Chaparral Pageant and her classmates voted her Friendliest. ln her senior year Robin was a member of the S eech and the Art Clubs, she placed second in the Miss Chaparralp Pa eant and participated in the Student Council. She was also votes Friendliest of the Senior Class. Robin is also a member of the Chaparral staff. rt N gs. ' -95, Along with being a cheerleader since her freshman year, Jackie Allen has been very school spirited. She was a member of the French Club, and in DECA, as ajunior she won first place for her free enterprise project. Jackie has been a member of the swing and concert choirs since her sophomore year. ln the concert choir, Jackie held the office of secretary as a junior, and president as a senior. Jackie was also president of the swing choir in both herjun- ior and senior years. Jackie is also a member of the Chaparral Staff. As Senior Class Vice President, Ernie participated in many activities at Ridgeway. Ernie was involved in the sports program, as he was on the football team in his sophomore and junior years and as a senior was on the basketball and track team. He was a member in the Library Club in the 9th and 10th grade. Ernie was voted Friendliest in Who's Who in hisjunior year. He was also a member of the Chaparral Staff from his freshman year to his senior year, and was a member of the Orange Pea! Staff as a junior and senior.

1979 Hall of Fame The sixteen seniors on this page have exhibited spirit and dedication to Ridgeway by their participation in several activities. They participated in many activities ranging from sports to different types of clubs. In these activities, many showed leadership by being officers and dedicated participants. As editor of the Chaparral, Lida showed real leadership ability. Along with being elected as Vice-President of the National Honor Society, Lida graduated as Valedictorian of the Senior Class. She was a member of the French Club, Library Club, and Speech Club. She directed and particilpated in some Lunchbox Theaters. As a member of the Speech C ub, she participated in many speech tour- naments and won some trophies. In er junior year, Lida was elected as a Girl's State Representative and chosen as the first alternate in the Miss Chaparral Pageant. In her senior year, Lida received the honors of Best Performance in the Talent Show and Teenager of the Week. 'LTP ay Youtnts , Clay showed his outstanding athletic ability by participating in baseball, football, and track. He became captain of the football and track teams his senior ear. He was chosen to Who's Who for three consecutive years. Cray was also a member of the Science club and treasurer for the Student Council. Jay Kal ,y r Chief photographer for the Orange Peal and Cha arral, Jay has accomplished much during his senior high years. file has been a member of the annual and newspaper staffs, and has been involved in the Science and Spanish Clubs. As a junior, Jay was inducted into the National Honor Societ ,and as a senior, he is treasurer of the Society. Jay was vice-president of his junior class. As a senior, he was voted Most Likely to Succeed. Jay is also a National Merit Finalist, and he has been his homeroom's Student Council Representative in his sophomore and senior years. f Cherri Smith As Secretary of the Senior, Junior, and Sophomore Class, Cherri was a member of the Honor Society, the Orange Peal, the Science Club, and the basketball and track teams. She was also voted Miss Sophomore. Miss Junior, and Miss Ridgeway by her classmates. During her senior year Cherri was voted football homecoming queen. She was the captain of the Varsity cheerleaders.
