I ' ' Sprints to a Finish The boys' track team had a sea- son that was much improved over last year's. Under the direction of Coach Mike Clary, the team bet- tered themselves in twelve out of the fourteen events in which they participated. Finishing sixth out of eight teams was not a bad fin- ish for this year's team. ln spite of their year's record, the girl's track team had many members who did well. Baseball Team Does It Again The Junior High Baseball team, under the leadership of Coach Conn, had a most success- ful year. For the second year in a row, they won the South Blue Division with a record of 5 wins and l loss. Outstanding players were Jeff Wyatt, Rhod Lauck, Asher Gray, Danny Kammer, James Burr, Al Woods, and Ash- ley Landers. Tennis Team v T e w'?slvs4.-,ggi Volleys to the Top The Ridgeway Junior High Girls and Boys Tennis Team was very suc- cessful this year, The Boys were 5-0 regular play. Bobby Kosten was Number One Sin- gles on the boys team. He was unde- feated in the League play and also unscored on in 40 games. Bobby won X' I the Number One Singles Trophy for 4 wg the MlAA's Junior Division, 4 f The Girl's Team was 5-0 in regular season play and won the South Blue League Title.
