Although the team's record was three wins and thirteen defeats, a great deal of effort was put forth by all who participated. The team consisted of six fresh- men. four eighth graders. and one seventh grader. The most out- standing girls on the team were Sheri Robinson. Renea Milligan, Teri Perlman. and Laura Frank. Jr. High Basketball Homecoming The l979 Junior High Basket- ball Homecoming was filled with excitement. It was a pep rally filled with spirit and enthusiasm. The 1979 Homecoming court, announced by Coach Conn, con- sisted of the seventh grade repre- sentative, Debbie King and the eighth grade representative. Susan Van Cleve. The Homecom- ing Queen nominees were Sherri Robinson, Kyra McKinley and Lisa Lee. Baseball Team Does It Again The Junior High Baseball team, under the leadership of Coach Conn, had a most success- ful year. For the second year in a row, they won the South Blue Division with a record of 5 wins and l loss. Outstanding players were Jeff Wyatt, Rhod Lauck, Asher Gray, Danny Kammer, James Burr, Al Woods, and Ash- ley Landers.
