Junior High Basketball The Junior High Basketball Team did not have a winning season this year. but they had winning effort and spirit. The team ended their season with 6 wins and ll losses. Danny Kammer was the leading scorer this season. Other high scorers were Chris Smith, Tony Lofton, Ashley Landers, and Asher Gray. Jr. High Football Homecoming The Jr. High Homecoming game was the last game of the year. The mighty Roadrunners defeated the Hillcrest Vikings by the score of 27 to 0. During half- time, Becky Boyd. the I977 Queen. crowned the new Football Homecoming Queen. Lisa Had- dock. The other members of the court were Lisa Lee. Kyra Mckin- ley. Sherri Robinson, and Kim Johnson. The Ridgeway Junior High Roadrunners' spirit led the team to its fourth shut-out. The 1979 Homecoming court, announced by Coach Conn, con- sisted of the seventh grade repre- sentative, Debbie King and the eighth grade representative. Susan Van Cleve. The Homecom- ing Queen nominees were Sherri Robinson, Kyra McKinley and Lisa Lee.
