Class History In the year of 1946 twenty-four boys and girls started to school for their first time This was strange atkfirst, but as the days went by we began to like school better. We drifted along happily through grammar school. One of the things we re- member was a minstrel we had in the sixth grade. We now are in the seventh grade. This year will stand out in our minds be- cause we were beginning to be treated as older boys and girls. At last we find ourselves in the ninth grade and high school. This was a big year because it was now that we would start working for a diploma. In the tenth grade our class began to get smaller. We now had twenty-one boys and girls in the class. The eleventh grade was a big year. We were looking forward to our trip to New York, the Junior-Senior Banquet and our play, ‘'Stranger in the Night. All of us worked hard on our many projects and on June 2, 1957, twenty-three juniors and seniors boarded a bus for New York. Now we find that we are Seniors. Fifteen of us are waiting patiently for May twenty-six when we shall receive our diplomas. We shall never forget dear old RHS and all of the teachers who have helped us through twelve years of school. Only four class members have completed twelve years of school at Ridgeway School together. They are Maenell Johnson, Annette1 McGuirt, Polly Reynolds and Boyd Moseley.
