THIRD ROW: J. Potter, C. Shaneyfelt, J. Shockney. J. Tolbert. S. Wi1S0h. The Freshmen boys and girls were initiated into high school on September 20, at the I-leekin Park in Muncie. The evening became more enjoyable when the Seniors held a wiener roast and served potato chips and cider along with the punishment. The group was divided into couples and each couple played various pranks--such as eating grapes for human eyeballs, pushing a green walnut across the floor with his nose, etc. Although this sounds rather severe everyone enjoyed it. A hayride and a wiener roast were combined into a party, which was held at Lois Gilkison's home. Lois Gilkison and John Shockney have been on the honor roll regularly this year. THIRD ROW: Jim Seyler, S. Seyler, S. Stanley, S, Wooters. Shirley Seyler and Vivian Garringer have been regular members of the honor roll this year. They have done various activities during the year to make money for their Junior year. They sold Christmas Cone Hangers and sponsored several skating parties. Also, they spon sored the Dixie-4 on March 7. The group chose gold and black as their class colors and ordered their sweaters of these same colors. ' The class had one party--a wiener roast at the Goodrich Park in Winchester, and later in the evening they attended the Street Fair. Class Officers President. . . . . During the first semester the class had one party which consisted of a hayride out to Kise Rink, a skating party, and ended with a wiener roast at Mrs. Brown's home. The Activity Period during the first semester was spent painting figurines, making model cars, and reading. During the last semester each one is to follow his own hobby.
