The banquet was attended by Mary Alice Harshman, now Howell, who flew home from New York for the occasion. To everyone's surprise she has become an efficiency expert in the General Motors Plant. Jim G. Lewis, looking very nifty in his sailor's suit, attended the banquet. Jim told how he became commander-in-chief of a large naval fleet. This was very interesting, all the more so because he started as cook, third class, Keith Milligan with his: piano -accordion combo, accompanied by his band, closed the gala occas'ion with his popular, It Was In The Smog I Didn't See Her or I Missed My Dreamboat . Everyone was invited to the Palace Ice Cream Parlorgfor free refresh ments at the end of the day. The Palace management has been taken over by Doris Alderman who started as a soda -jerk. The only member of the Class of '51 absent from the dedication was Eddie Cox. He is home on leave from the Navy, but his wife won't let him out of her sight. Farewell We have come to the end of our high school days, and are entering a life that will be only what we make it. We have studied hard to form the steps of life which we have chosen to follow. There have been many times when we did not agree with one another, but there was always a willing hand to help us arrive at an agreement. Some of our classmates dropped out of school when the going was rough, but the rest of us decided to remain and ,make the best of it. So many people think of school as all work and no uplay. We have had our class parties, and many other activities which we have all enjoyed. We have waited patiently for twelve years for our diplomas. Now that we have our diplomas and have completed our school days, we want to bid every faculty member and student farewellg for we have enjoyed graduat- ing from Ridgeville High School. A SENIOR

Class Prophecy On a beautiful sunny day, May 4, 1961, a dedication banquet was held in honor of Denzil Auker who donated funds to build a tennis court and swimming pool for Ridgeville High School. Denzil has made a fortune by starting a line of filling stations with superior petroleum products. Jim Tharp, a famous architect, drew the plans for our elaborate swim- ming pool and streamlined tennis court. Jim was present at the dedication and his famous sense of humor was displayed. The entertainment was provided by Junior Van Skyock, who demon- strated his new sky-rocket jet. This was the third super jet Junior has designed and tested. After everyone relaxed from Junior's nerve -racking stunts, Bill Richards explained how his non-multiplying multiplication table would simplify any problem which might arise. This startling discovery has won Bill fame all over the country. Bob Moyer and Annalee Huffman have married and now have twins. These twins keep Annalee very busy. Bob was recently promoted to Senior Part- ner of a construction company in Indianapolis. Carolyn Sue Cook was present and explained all the latest fashions. Carolyn now operates a series of Sweet Sue dress shops. Myrtle Shaneyfelt disagreed with Carolyn Cook's ideas of the latest fashion. Myrtle has just designed a completely new line in style. Now the lines go around instead of up and down. Jim E. Lewis, who owns half of Randolph County, was persuaded by Jay Tharp, who also owns half of Randolph County to consolidate. This would give them control of the tomato industry in Indiana. Eldon Landers. head of the Sales Department in the National Cash Reg- ister Company, attended the dedication banquet. Everyone else present took home a cash register, thanks to Eldon's selling ability. Phyllis Cline now operates an experimental kitchen. She has discover- ed many famous recipes. Her most famous achievement was the discovery of vitamin pellets to replace rational foods. Bob Limbert was late for the banquet, as his jet -mobile blew a fuse. Bob had to return .to his machine shop to obtain another fuse.
