That year our teacher was Mrs. Janet B. Thompson, who help- ed us in every possible way. Our Prom was entitled 'Songs of the Islands . Being our first one, we thought it was the greatest. Class work was hard but we struggled and we made it. On September 3, 1955, we entered our fourth year of high school: we were Seniors at last, and proud to bear the name of Seniors!
