K .Awar 1-. -17 - f:11.b-x - ' - 1' arrived many ambitious juniors were proud of our accom- plishments. Winding up the year our girls ushered for the seniors at graduation and came to realize that after one short summer vacation we would begin working toward our chief goal in High School, Graduation of the Class of '52. On September 5, we were really anxious to get back to R. P. H. S. We were determined to make this our best year. At the dances, football games, and pep-rallies the seniors made a good showing. We were all pleased when football season opened with a bang! Leonia was beaten, a big upset. At the Win or Lose Dinner Bill Connolly was awarded the Biggs Trophy for being the outstanding athlete scholar of the year Work on the Idler began Picture schedules senior write ups art work began and the business staff began to work to pay for it all Ties and slick looking people were seen on November 20 and November 21 when our Idler pictures were taken Two weeks later we were all happy to see what that camera had done Christmas vacation' Everyone was planning parties for New Years But we all knew what was coming in Ianuary EXAMS' But as in every other year we survived With the help of the Pepsi Cola people we installed a coke machine in the Boys Gym What a blessing for those Friday night dances To raise money for the Idler we got busy and sold carrot pickles candy and programs during the basketball games On March 14 and 15 we presented Too Many Dates We counted this a real success and a credit to the people who worked deligently to make it one Spring vacation Suddenly we realized that this would be our last vacation but wienie rosts and picnics helped us to endure the idea Track season and baseball were upon us and we were quite determined to break the record and have a good season It seemed like a mater of hours until the Prom was held We extend all our thanks to the juniors who did such a wonderful job Exams again' Lo and behold this was really the end After this week our studies at our Alma Mater were ended and we were all very happy on the outside but a little sad too as we reviewed the many pleasant memories of the past four short years we looked forward to this last wonderful time we knew it was the finish to our happy school days in R P H S Many students will be going to college and many right out into the world to make a place for themselves but we will all remember the four wonderful years spent in Ridgefield Park High School fl! 01' XIINTQ.. x 3- .
