New Horizons 1980! A year of new prospects. A year which draws us closer to the threshold of a new century. It seems quite strange to us to be graduating, to find ourselves in such a malestrom of change. No one likes change. So young, so optimistic, so confident in our abilities, we are secretly afraid of change. Yet, we realize that without change, there is no life. During the past four years at R. M. H. S., we have experienced a celebration of life. Our minds were stimulated by our teachers. Our bodies thrilled and grew through athletic programs and extra curricular activities. Socially, the exchanges of friendships and the creating of lasting memories helped us to arrive at young adulthood. Despite the many obstacles society will hurl in our path, despite the insecurities within ourselves, our class will embrace the future with enthusiasm and with a continuing love for each other. e Our class of 1980! What fond memories we have shared. In moments of sadness, we gave each other comfort. The resounding force of our joyous laughter echo through the halls at R. M. H. S. E No one can honestly feel that the class of 1980 lacked unity and spirit. Throughout our high school years, we have obtained these virtues. Because of this great achievement, we can embrace these new horizons and challenges with undaunted courage.
