Second, it has organized and helped to regulate the various stu- dent activities. Some of the activities of which the Student Council has been re- sponsible are selling the New York Times, scheduling social activities, selling Activities Cards, sponsoring dances, and the awarding of varsity letters. Its activities in- clude singing Spanish folk-songs, dancing, and discussing literary and art works of the countries. These may range from a trip to the United Nations to hear the French simultaneous interpreters to a visit to the Museum of Modern Art to study the paintings of the French impress- ionists.
