DEDICATIO We dedicate this, the 1960 Oralue, to Mr. Harry Coffman Haskell, head custodian, in recognition and appreciation of his long service to Ridgefield High School. He was born in Chehalis, Washington, Novem- ber 2, 4 1896. His formal education ended at the age of twelve, when he began work in a Chehalis mill. He served in the army for two years which took him over seas to France, Germany, and England during World War I. After being discharged, he worked as a truck driver in Vancouver until com- ing to Ridgefield in 1950. In the past nine years at Ridgefield High, he has shown friendship and interest toward all students. Mr. Haskell is a loyal supparter of the Spuddcrs, often going out of his way to help students with extra- curricular activities. Often a student's lagging spirits are lifted by Mr. Haskell's Hi ya Kiddo! What's the matter? To get away from his pet peeve, messy floors, Mr. Haskell goes horseback riding. We sincerely hope that his future years here will be as pleasant for him as his past years have been for us. M if 'i l i l i if l ll i l l ii 1: l , i l 2 -.Mrk HARRY C. HASKELL
