V If I I I SOCIETY The Junior and Senior Classes enjoyed a skating party at Oaks Park on Friday September 30 lt followed the game with Naselle The chaperons were Mr and Mrs Strand and Miss Pemberton The party season opened Friday September l6 when the Girls League gave a Big and Little Sister Party All members of the G rls League were invited The lower classmen were dressed as little girls and during the program the freshmen distinguished themselves by singing Good Morning to You' The evening was spent playing games and dancing Refreshments concluded the affair The annual welcome party in honor of the Freshman Class was given by the Sopfwomores on September 30 On October 28 the Freshmen gave a return party Several classes enjoyed Christmas parties The Seniors enjoyed a festive luncheon in the Home Economics room on December Zl After the refreshments were served singing and the exchange of gifts were enjoyed luncheon John Hinkle played the roll of Santa Claus very well for the Sophomores Hs helpers were Elaine Zaske and Ruth Maul After the exchang of gifts refreshments were served The operetto party on February ll was a great success Everyone was requested to dress up the girls as old maids or little girls and the boys as tramps Many games were played after which the judges decided on the best costumes Refreshments were served later in the evening DANCES The Girls League sport dance given Friday September 23 was a big success A majority of teachers were present to chaperon the dance The Boys League sponsored a dance of a similar nature on the evening of November 4 A dance sponsored by the Junior Class was given March l7 This dance was for the purpose of raising funds for the prom The dance was well attended and everyone enjoyed it immensely On May 5 the Seniors sponsored a dance lnonoring the May Day King Queen and attendants Tommy Laynes orchestra furnished the music A good time was had by all Courtesy of SCHROEDER S SWEET SHOP Ridgefield Washington . . . . , - - I I I . . j . .
