Gary Thomas, Ted Edler, Tim Collier, Mike Lemke, Doug Stoneburner, Ralph Craig, Gary Ault, Dana Eblin. Varsity While the 1965-66 basketball season was a winless one for the Ridgedale Varsity squad, much valuable playing experience was gained by a number of promising underclassmen. The team was handicapped by a lack of returning lettermen, however, Dave Brown and Roger Moore are the only team members to graduate this year. Returning will be: Mike Lemke, Gary Thomas, Tim Collier, Ralph Craig, Dana Eblin, Ray Russell, Ted Edler, Jeff Hord, Gary Ault, Doug Stoneburner, Dave Craig, Dan Bollinger, Dave Rengert, Tom Ken- nedy and Dave Mitchell, plus members ofthe Freshman and Jr. High Teams. The Rockets came close to victory over Northmor, Mohawk, and Pleasant in very close games and lost to Marion Catholic in the Sectional Tournament to end the season. Roger Moore and Dave Brown were chosen Most Valuable Players. Mike Lemke had the most rebounds and Ted Edler had the best foul shooting percentage. Ridgedale was 4th in the North Central Conference in defense . The season was a disappointing one for the team and fans, but we can be proud of a team which never lost its fighting spirit while showing fine sportsmanship. They were gentlemen all the way. 32
