RIGHT TO LEFT: Robert Tong, Alan Rhoads, Larry Uhl, J oe Moore, Walter Breitigan, Fred Moore, Gary Heller, Robert Henning, Ir., Jack Clark, Larry Bard, George Young, Steve Williams. Ridgedale basketball teams completed a very successful year during the '58 - '59 season. The freshman team, under the guidance of Mr. Goare, won 8 games while losing 4 and received 3rd place trophy in the Marion City Tournament. The reserve team, coached by Mr. Bayless, lost their first game of the season then wenf on to win the next 15 games in a row to compile a 15 and 1 season record. The varsity team advanced to the finals of the district tournament at Columbus before being eliminated by Pickerington. We completed the season with a 23 won, 4 lost record. ,T oe Moore was voted the most valuable player award and was also high scorer for the year with 601 points and 22.2 per game average. We are proud of our teams performances this past year, however we are working toward and looking forward to an even better season next year.
