Rhoads, Coon, B. Hickman, Williams, Uhl, Sappinton, R. Koontz Milligna, Brown. The Ridgedale High School Band was organized last September under the direction of Mr. Robert Paxton. The band is composed of students from last year's bands in the Morral, Meeker, and Grand Prairie Schools. In addition to the high school band, Morral, Meeker, and Grand Prairie grade schools each have a beginner and a junior band making a total of seven bands in the Ridge- dale School District. Ridgedale also has a pep band which plays for athletic functions. We plan to start rehearsals this summer for a dance band. It is hoped that the dance band will be ready to play for some school dances by next year.

SECOND ROW: Hickman, Gettys, Adams, B. Myers, Hudnall, Houk, Hinamon, Weaver, Holbrook, Wagner, Craycraft, Swick, Hite, Herr, Secoy, Patton Williams. THIRD ROW: A. Rhoads, Brown, Patton, Shifflet, M. Rhoads, Young, Wash- burn, Hickman, Lovell, Frayer, Tong. The Ridgedale Choir composed of forty-six students was organized in the fall of 1957 under the direction of Mrs. DeMeri1 Stanbro. Choir members were selected before the close of the previous school year from the students of the three schools being consolidated and rehearsals have been held daily during the sixth period. The choir made its first appearance on the program for the Marion County Teachers' Workshop held at Ridgedale in September, 1957. The Music Boosters' organization purchased sixty blue Ccolumbiaj robes with white pennant stoles pictured above, which were worn for the Christmas concert December 17, 1957. Accompanists are Barbara Myers and Joyce Hite. Myron Rhoads serves as student director.
