LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT We, the class of 1950, being about to leave this worthy institution, do in all respect and affection bequeath the following to our friends re- maining here: To the members of the faculty, in recognition of their kindness and generosity to us, we leave our sincere thanks and heartfelt appreciation. To the Junior Class, we leave all the remaining money in the treasury, eleven cents and all the remaining outstanding debts. To the Sophomore Class, we leave a splendid example of how noisy a Senior Class should not be. To the Freshman Class, we leave the ability to eat during classes. I, Mildred Smith, leave all my old Reader's Digests to Katie Lambert and I hope she will enjoy them more than I did. I, Jack Tucker, leave my place as basketball captain to Kenneth Mor- gan. I, Ruth Almond, do will and bequeath my ability to make snazzy and delicious milk shakes to Carl Burris. I, Gerald Freeman, do will and bequeath my love for square dancing to Richard Almond, and I hope that he will have lots of fun. I, Juanita Smith, do will and bequeath my ability to fall in love with a different boy every week-end to Ann Jean Eudy. I, Virginia Tucker, do will and bequeath my many heartaches and sleepless nights over my favorite boy friends to Hilda Mae Hatley. I, Jack Laxton, do will and bequeath my love for pretty girls to Billie Lambert and hope that they will love him better than they did me. I, Kathleen Paige, do will and bequeath my ability to keep library students quiet to Dorothy Huneycutt and hope she does a better job than I did. I, Hazel Furr, do will and bequeath my ability to read library books in class to Clinton Harkey, hoping that he doesn't have to do it as sur- repitiously as I did. I, Edward Smith, leave my place as a good ad salesman to Truet Whit- ley. I, Betty Jean Almond, do will and bequeath my preference for tall, dark and handsome boys to Lillie Helms, hoping that she will have more of them stringing along than I did. I, Jackie I-Iatley, do will and bequeath my ability to day dream in class of my future husband to Sarah Ann Clark. I, Frances Almond, do will and bequeath my old bottle of tom Bomb Perfume to Jewell Almond and hope its fragrance will be a knock-out on her Saturday night dates. I, Tommy Whitley, do will and bequeath my ability to play basketball to Charles Branch in order that the team may have a successful season next year. I, Thelma Harwood, do will and bequeath my reputation as the biggest giggler to Patsy Almond. UA Testator, Jackie Hatley Witnesses, Mrs. J. N. Lilly, J. M. Dry . im,
